Thank you OMY BLOGGER CLUB for the 2 complimentary tickets to experience Alive Museum! I could actually consider this my second trip to Alive Museum. My very first experience was Alive Museum at Jeju. As Singapore is quite small, at the age of probably 25, you have been to almost all the attractions in Singapore, so this new addition of Alive Museum could be a joy to many! So basically how the trick art works is making classic flat paintings into 3D artworks by using curve and reflection of perceptive, light and shadows. Besides that, there’s actually 2 more – Object art and Digital art for these effects! Enough of words, time for some trick arts.
where everyone dream of their very own pair of wings!
Oops, what is this dude trying to do there. 😡
Bow before your highness
Relieve your childhood memories.
thirsty? urine or water? or need a shampoo?
Testing to see how strong you are? Here’s the disco room i like most! All the mirrors and lightings, totally feel like you’re in another dimension.
encounter with Spidey?
i’m strong too! i can lift this 200 pounds lady and pry open the mouth of a catwoman k! DONT PLAY PLAY!
The one on the left is something more like a digital art where combines state-of-the-art technologies and the art to enable visitors to experience art beyond what is seen, and enjoy art pieces like never before! Some effects cannot be accurately captured using the camera, so best is to make a trip down and experience it yourself!
Assassination! what a perfect split i can do! The one on the right is like an example of object art. They are sculptures and installations that challenge our senses. It really look like i can do a perfect split isnt it?
dream to be a representative for Ping Pong?
Pervertic elephant ): Slam dunk like easy peasy only.
fly me to the mooon
Save Me! Doing a good job in saving the penguins!
This is one of the very cool section. So you sit in this emperor look a like chair, and infront of it is like a dark room with a screen which will appear as like what you see on the right pic, and you could use the marker and transparency provided and trace it out like a sketch work that of an artist
Of course there’s more than what you see here! There’s around 80 paintings and trick eye works for you to explore and experience. Some digital art works you got to be there to see it yourself. What’s amazing about the one in Singapore is that, you could even find trick eye artworks along a narrow corridor! Fully utilized the space effectively. The one i went in Korea is much more spacious, not too much of cluttering or over crowding of people in one area trying to take photos, but the one in Singapore, area space is more limited and if there’s over crowding in one area, it will be hard to take photos but just “Excuse Me”, it will do the job, and pretty photos can be taken! It’s a pretty good experience worth going for especially if you have never been to one before! And dont worry if it’s your first time and you’re not sure of how to take the photos, there are printed photo points on the ground to guide you where to stand and illustrations on the walls to guide you how to pose! But of course, you can innovate and create your very own poses like us! There’s a few digital art displays that you have to experience it personally to get the whole feel! Now, they are having a 20% discount for online booking, more info on http://alivemuseum.sg/news-events/ & Check out http://alivemuseum.sg/news-events/promotions/ for the latest promotions!
